Whether we know it or not, we are all called to do
something with our lives. Some of us have the time, the money, the
inclination or the resolve to do just that. But, few of us would be
willing to give up our own life . . . or give up our own comforts that we
are so used to.
We all know what Christ did on the cross and how many of
us would not be willing to give up our so readily as He did . . . but we can
do something for others as this life is what it is all about.
The cross is a voluntary place of sacrifice.
The choice is yours and you must choose. Be assured that it will be a
place of laying down your life for others. You will have to
sacrifice yourself, even as your Lord did, in order to be used of God to
save others. To live at the cross is to pour out your life for those
who have deserted you. Are you willing to make a difference in the
lives of children that have been deserted?
You might say to yourself..."Later, I'll decide
later? Or perhaps, "I will, but first I might"...
Or you might say... "Of course I can, and I should".
Crown is a ministry under YWAM (Youth With a Mission),
with a headquarters in Targu-Mures, Transylvania, Romania that invests in
the lives of abandoned children with the desire to improve their life
conditions and to bring them a message of unconditional love, thus doing
everything possible to offer them a future and a hope to the little ones
that pay an extremely high price for the lack of responsibility of this
society that we represent.
Crown believes the destiny of abandoned children in Romania will change only
when we focus our attention on long term solutions, helping with social
integration, and replacement of the state institution and preventing
abandonment.
We promote, encourage and facilitate only national adoption in a
manner that is efficient and practical for the family that is involved.
What we desire to accomplish through this promotion is the development of
capable social politics that will come to the aid of national adoption as a
viable solution versus institutionalizing children.
We want to launch our need of long term staff in:

Office Administration: Skills such as
computers (MS Office Suite), the ability to speak English, accounting,
writing, good grammar, etc).

Adoption – Social workers and social
assistants (for those with no training in this area, a six month course in
child development with YWAM is available and will equip these people in
this area.

International Team Leaders (English
speaking): These are people that possess good leadership skills and
can competently lead a group of people in a Christian setting to
accomplishment task task given.

International Team Workers: These are men
and women that can follow a good leader to accomplish any task placed in
front of them.

Foster families - These are Romanian or
international families that are willing to foster children (infant, child
or teenager) in Romania. This is a step in transition towards
adoption. In the case of a teenager (ages 14-22), it is a
supporting option to assist them through high school or college.

Orphanage – Youth Ministry: These
deal with activities inside the teenager orphanages such as camps, social
integration, life skills, teaching, etc.
